Our school trips are educational and fun. We’re located north of Barrie, ON and serve Simcoe County and other municipalities.
At Rounds Ranch, we offer both spring school trips and fall school trips for various grades. All of our tours are designed to meet grade-specific requirements and offer a hands-on, interactive experience for students. We also offer an excellent program for preschool farm visits. Today, many children in Barrie, Ontario are unfamiliar with how food is produced, as well as what the purpose of farming is. It is our goal to introduce students to the crucial role farming plays in our local community, in addition to the rest of the world.
At our Ranch, we have separate public washrooms, a drinking fountain, and a large, covered eating area with picnic tables for snacks and lunch. Whether your students are in preschool or 8th grade or anywhere in between, we’re confident that they’ll enjoy the time they spend with us at Rounds Ranch.

I, personally and on behalf of St. Nicholas School in Barrie, want to thank you for a great time. Our kindergarten classes truly had a very enjoyable and memorable time at Rounds Ranch this week. Fun had by all. The learning activities were well thought out and hands on.
When asked what they liked best many chose different activities and animals. Thank you so much. A great day from beginning to end. “

“Hi there Wendy,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how pleased we were about our visit this past Thursday to the Ranch. The kids had such a great time and we teachers thought it was very well organized and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
We enjoyed the interactive story time, the scavenger hunt seed planting, and the petting farm, the many free play activities – and of course, the tractor train ride was a huge hit!!
So, from the kindergarten staff at St. Catherine of Siena school, thank you for a great visit.”
