K to Grade 2: Half-Day Pumpkin Laboratory

Your students will participate in a hands-on investigation of a pumpkin.  They will also enjoy a wagon ride to the Pumpkin Patch where they will pick their own small pumpkin from the vine to take home.

Walking the Pumpkin Patch will give the students further understanding of how pumpkins are grown.  They will also enjoy visiting the Petting Zoo, playing in the Western Fort, riding in the Barnyard Boxcars, finding the cow stations in the Moo Maze and zipping around on pedal cars.

“Life Cycle of the Pumpkin Plant Skit”

Each student will participate in a fun, educational skit of the life cycle of the pumpkin plant; from the farmer getting the soil ready for the pumpkin to be planted, to harvesting the pumpkin from the field.

Grade 3-6: Get Lost In The Maze

Our large cornfield maze offers a great opportunity for your students to learn navigational skills.  While in the maze they will be challenged to find the answers to 12 word puzzles, called “CornFUSIONS”, strategically placed throughout the maze.

The wagon ride will take students out to the Pumpkin Patch where they will pick their own medium size pumpkin straight from the vine.

Students will enjoy visiting the Petting Zoo, playing in the Western Play Fort, riding in the Barnyard Boxcars, finding the cow stations in the Moo Maze, and zipping around on the Pedal Carts.

Great place for a school trip, which is what we were there for. Lots of activities for the kids to do, the maze with the finger paints was very entertaining, the playground was very large and gave all the children lots of options for playing. The petting zoo was one of the bigger ones we’ve experienced. The kids learned about the life cycle of pumpkins while also doing interactive age appropriate experiments and they all loved getting to pick their own pumpkin/squash.
